Sofia Nosa - Engagement Partner - Ravensbourne University, London - Aspire scheme & Greenwich Aspire scheme at University of Greenwich London

Sofia Nosa joined JS Group in July 2019 as an Engagement Partner for Ravensbourne, and now University of Greenwich. Sofia manages currently manages two engage schemes, one at Ravensbourne University where students are given up to £500 to spend on a bespoke student site towards their course supplies. And the other at Greenwich University, where students are given up to £700 to spend on course supplies.

Sofia graduated with a first-class degree in Psychology from London South Bank University. Her experience working within different departments at different levels in Higher Education is extensive. Over the last seven years Sofia has worked as an Events Coordinator for the student's union, a resident ambassador at the University's biggest student accommodation, as a Student Engagement Administrator and Officer as part of the Deanery for the School of Law and Social Sciences at London South Bank University. Most recently, Sofia headed up and launched a workshop on the BAME attainment gap within HE as part of her freelance research project (June 2019).

In her current role, Sofia uses her knowledge of the sector to meet the strategic objectives of her universities and their students. Sofia thoroughly enjoys working with a diverse student demographic, adding value to their university experience, and going the extra mile to ensure that students are impacted positively through the schemes.

In her free time, Sofia enjoys volunteering at church, going for long walks and brunch in the city.
